DELIVERY CHARGES

Orders over Rs2000.00 will be delivered for free.

We will make every effort to ensure your delivery is left in a safe place as instructed if you, the home owner is not available. We can leave with a neighbour or in a place you have told us when at the website checkout provided someone sign our delivery note.

Once our products leave our outlet it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure delivery can be made. We reserve the right to refuse refunds based on none delivery due to the home owner being unreachable.

*Guaranteed Next Day Delivery charge includes gross weight and packaging of order, and includes VAT and will be handled by an outsourced delivery company.

LOCAL DELIVERIES

Deliveries within a 10 kms radius will be delivered by us providing a truly personal service to our customers.

SPECIAL REQUESTS

Whether you would like us to deliver to a neighbour, or cut your meat a specific way, we can accommodate most requirements, just ask in the comment section before completing your online purchase! We can prepare all products to order, so if there’s something unusual you would like, our skilled butchers can help. Simply add a note in the check-out process.

DELIVERY METHOD

We will deliver our products in their original packaging except if there are further processing required, then it will be delivered in the most appropriate packaging for the product/s involved.

Customers can give additional delivery instructions for their order online at the time of purchase and they can collect their order as well.

ORDER STATUS – GUARANTEED NEXT DAY DELIVERY

When you place a next day delivery order with us we want to ensure our service continues with our service provider, we will share the basic information with you our service provider to ensure that you order is delivered swiftly and you will be notified you when what time you can expect your delivery. If you’re not going to be at the delivery point, pick the best option for you: collect from our premises; deliver to a safe place; deliver to a neighbour or change the delivery day. If you return home and your delivery has been missed, the driver will attempt a second delivery at a later date.

DELIVERY DAYS

Any order placed before 11 am from Monday to Friday will be delivered the within two to four working days (Monday-Saturday).

Please note, orders received after 11 am will not be processed until the next working day.

Orders received after 11 am on a Friday, during the week end and on a public holiday will be processed on the following Monday. If the Monday is a public holiday, then the order will be processed on the next working day.

PACKAGED FOR FRESHNESS

All orders will be securely sealed and delivered in a normal carton box. If you wish to have your temperature controlled products delivered in a polystyrene cool-box please select the option on check out, and your products will be packed along with specially designed ice packs.

Chilled products must be stored at 5°C from the time we cut it, until you receive it, so it will always arrive fresh and in perfect condition. It is recommended that you store the products at the same temperature immediately after delivery and maintain the cold chain.

Our insulated expanded polystyrene box is leak proof and sturdy and designed to keep the inside cool.

Our ice packs are made with a water-based gel, which is frozen and packed with the meat. This will keep the meat at the correct temperature for up to 24 hours.

When the ice does melt, it stays as a gel, which prevents the delivery becoming wet.
